Glenda Bright Obituary
Glenda Faye Cabe Bright, age 63, of N. Highway 150, Lexington passed away Wednesday morning, June 12, 2019 at her home.
There will be no services or visitation held.
Glenda Faye was born in Jackson County, NC on March 1, 1956 to Charles Glenn Cabe and Fae Deitz Cabe. She was employed by Marley Drug Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Ray Cabe; and a nephew, Glenn Cabe.
Surviving are her husband, William T. Bright, Jr. of the home; daughters, Leslie Barker (Billy) and Tina Staten both of Lexington; grandchildren, Savannah, Luke, Caleb, Nick, Matthew and Brittany; two great-grandchildren, Cydney and Tristen; and her sister, Patricia Gail Hall of Lexington.
Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.

There are no words to express how much she meant to me. We started out as coworkers and became friends and even family. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known and was there with me through some of the best and worst times in my life. Prayers for her precious family as they adjust to this life without her. So sorry to hear of Glenda's passing. She was the smile of Marley. We always looked forward to being serviced by her. She always, always, ALWAYS brightened our day. We will always remember her joy. Bill and Girls, I am so sorry to read of Glenda's promotion. She was such a very special lady. No matter where you saw her she was always the same--smiling and happy to see you.
