Gregory Peterson Obituary

Greg Peterson, age 67, of Menahga, MN, died Sunday August 1st, 2021, at home.


Gregory Allen Peterson was born in Minneapolis, MN on April 28, 1954, to George and Anna Peterson.  He attended school in Plymouth, MN and Ventura, CA.  He graduated from Ventura High School in 1972.


Once Greg graduated high school, his ambition led him to Fargo, ND.  There he met his wife to be, JoAnn Carol Schroeder. They were married May 1st, 1978.  Greg was an entrepreneur. His favorite thing to do since he was a teenager was to buy and sell. Some of his professions included mechanical work, logging, equipment operation and real estate investment.


Greg always wanted to be a father and he was very proud of his 3 sons. Craig (Kristy), their children: Ethan, Evan and Eli of Lake Elmo, MN. David (Nicolette), their children: Brayden, Aubree and Barrett of Denton, MD. James (Beth Paurus) and her children: Blake, Emily, and Annabelle of Menahga,


Greg is survived by his wife JoAnn of 43 years, his sister Becky Foulks of Glyndon, MN and several extended family members.  Greg is preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, and his brother-in-law.
