Gwen M. Stisser

1953 - 2022

Gwen M. Stisser, 69, of Spartanburg, SC passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Born in Oneida, NY, she was a daughter of Francis Ellsworth Stisser and the late Rosemary Edick Stisser. Gwen was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, and attended Winthrop University. She retired from Chick-fil-A Hillcrest. Gwen was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kerry Stisser; and a brother-in-law, Wally Amerson.

Left to cherish her memory with her father is her brother, Barry Stisser (Niki); three sisters, Jill Sisk (Jeff), Lori Humphries, and Nina Amerson; sister-in-law, Robin Stisser; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ty Childers officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Spartanburg Regional 4th floor West and Upstate Community Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Gwen.

The family will be at their respective homes.
