Harry George "Butch" Gensler Obituary

Harry George "Butch" Gensler, 79, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Forbes Hospital. He was born January 26, 1940 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Harry A. and Theresa Hison Gensler. He was a member of Boston United Methodist Church and worked a Mechanic for Pittsburgh Public Schools. He also coached his children's softball teams when they were growing up. Butch is survived by his wife, Marjorie Frances (Kincaid) Gensler, daughters, Sherry Renee Gensler of North Versailles and Jodi Lee (Rick) Sabol of North Huntingdon, son, Richard David (Michelle) Gensler of McKeesport, grandchildren, Justin C. Conn, Cody (Sarah) Sabol, Jamie (Charlie) Meyers, Taylor Sabol and Owen Sabol, great-granddaughter, Savannah, sister, Janet Carr of Braddock Hills, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Louise Conn and brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Carr. There is no visitation. Funeral service will be held at The Boston Methodist Church, 6103 Smithfield St, Boston, on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:00 am with The Rev. Jack Piper, officiating. Inurnment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
