Helen Matlaga Ceglio

Helen Matlaga Ceglio, 89, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Helen was just a few weeks shy of her 90th birthday. She was born to the late Anastasia and Stephen Matlaga on March 26, 1933 in Roselle Park, NJ. Helen worked as a bookkeeper most of her life. Upon her retirement she dedicated the rest of her years to her family and most especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Helen enjoyed baking, cooking, trips to Atlantic City, and most of all playing Bingo. She was a strong, smart, beautiful Ukrainian lady who was adored by her family. Other than her parents, Helen is predeceased by her seven siblings. Left to cherish her memory and remember her legacy are her daughter Kim Munoz, her grandchildren Amanda and Matthew Munoz and many extended members of her family. Visitation: Thursday Feb 9, 2023. 6:00 pm-8:00 Pm  Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave Asbury Park.
