Helen Hough, age 94, passed away peacefully at Rose Court at Maris Grove on January 29, 2026.  Daughter of the late Edward and Mary (nee Miles) Wynne, Helen was born in Media, PA and was a lifetime resident of the area.  She graduated from Media High School and worked as an office manager for the Selective Service Department of the U.S. Government for over thirty years.

She was particularly skilled in sewing and quilting among many other handicrafts.  Helen was a huge Phillies fan and she enjoyed her many winters in Florida with her nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Carlan Hough, and her grandson, Harry Howarth.

She is survived by her daughters Helen McDaid (Len) of Morton, PA and Mary Macomber (Earl) of Elverson, PA along with grandchildren Lynne Burtell, Mary Stewart, Earl Macomber, Edward Macomber, and Patrick Macomber and several great grandchildren.
