Helen M. Korecky (nee Pleta) age 93 passed away May 25, 2024. Beloved wife of Richard F. Korecky (deceased). Beloved mother of Richard Korecky (deceased), Denise Balkan (Edward) and Michele Burns (Lee deceased). Loving grandmother of Richard (Christy), Robert, Ryan, Rebecca Blair (Thomas), Melissa Shannon (Jeff), Jessica Mattei (Matt), Jeffrey (deceased), Jaesun, and Kristin. Great grandmother of William, Liam, Hadleigh, Jeffrey (deceased), Chloe, Callie, Levon, Otis, Owen and Jonathan. Sister of Mildred Ulicky (deceased) and Irene Hovater (deceased).
Memorial visitation Thursday June 6, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fortuna Funeral Home 7076 Brecksville Rd. Independence, Ohio, 44131. Memorial Mass Friday June 7, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (East 50th and Fleet Ave.) (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment of cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following the Memorial Mass.
