Boolie .... Just learned of your mom's death. What a sweet, sweet lady she was. There is nothing like a mother's love - oh how you will miss it. Thinking of you and your entire family.

My name is Jennifer Reed Sexton and my brother is Craig Reed. Helen was a very close friend of our mother's from the time she (Joyce Voiles Reed) moved to New River in 1937 at age 15. How she loved talking about all the great times shared with Helen, Ed, & Charles, Virginia Lipscomb, Virginia, Junior, and W. C. Hunt, John Franklin Scates, and others. Helen and her brothers all graduated from H.H.S. with Mother in the Class of 1939. In 1940, Mother married my father, Clyde Reed. She and Daddy have been gone now for over 20 years. I went to church with Mr. & Mrs. Martin and loved them so much. I want you to know that many others still remember and cherish "old times" and old friends from New River, and share in your grief and loss. Both your parents were wonderful people and will not be forgotten. May our Lord give you His comfort, strength, grace, and peace. Our prayers are with you and all of the family.
