Henry E. Grinthal

Henry Edward Grinthal 81, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away March 1, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1933 in Manhattan, New York & was the son of David and Madeline Zaephel Grinthal. He attended school there and later entered the United States Navy, where he served on the U.S.S. Kula Gulf. He married Jean Hurley and the couple made their home in Valley Stream Long Island where he was a Postman for many years. Henry is survived by his wife, Jean Grinthal, a daughter, Denise Firlik, a brother, David Grinthal and two grandchildren, Deanna Firlik and Derek Firlik. Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday March 9, 2015, at the funeral home chapel. Graveside military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
