He is survived by his wife; Joann Walker Tillman, children; Tara, Lakeisha and Herbert Tillman, Jr; siblings, Elizabeth T. Wolfe, Beverly T. (Lionel) Shephard and Alvin (Alicia) Tillman, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Tillman, Sr. and Irene Sims Tillman, daughter, Gina Tillman; siblings, Calvin Tillman, Sr., Marshal T.
