Hermenegildo, a man whose laughter was as constant as his love for his family, passed away leaving a legacy of joy and cherished memories. Known to many as "Hermen," he lived his life with an infectious enthusiasm, always finding a reason to joke, smile, and embrace every moment to the fullest.

A Life Rooted in Love

Hermen’s greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted fiancé to Monika Flores, with whom he shared a life full of dreams and companionship. As a father, he poured his heart into his children—Wyatt, Waylon, Wynette, Kaiden Ortega, and Remington Ortega—teaching them by example how to find the humor and beauty in every day.

He was the beloved son of Ruby Salazar and Javier Torres, and a protective, spirited brother to his siblings. Whether he was at a family gathering or a quiet dinner at home, Hermen was the spark that made life feel brighter for everyone around him.

Hermen’s memory will be carried on by those who loved him most:

Hermen will be remembered not for the years in his life, but for the life in his years. His jokes and his signature laugh will echo in the hearts of his friends and family forever.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m.
