Mrs. Benion was such a beautiful, classy lady. I always admired her and her husband's beautiful marriage. Growing up seeing them in church on Sundays was always such a blessing and honor. I am so sorry for the family's loss and I pray God's peace and comfort be with you now and forever.

I don't personally know Mrs. Benion, her son Kelvin is my Daughters band instructor. Through the interaction I've had with him, I believe I have met Mrs. Hilda. He is a awesome person. Thank you Mrs. Hilda for your years of service in educating others. May your much earned rest with the Father bring Joy to your spirit.

Dear Family, on behalf of the Detroit/Ohio Chapter we continue send our prayers for the entire family. Cousin Hilda was a jewel to our family. My fondest memories about Hilda was her love for family, how kind she was, and no matter what question I could ask about the history of the family "she knew the answer". She even knew a great deal about my Mom's Dad's side of the family which was a blessing to Mom. She was always a joy to see at each family reunion and her presence will be missed but not forgotten. We thank God for such a beautiful gift to our family. Love and Prayers...Tonya Roberson

Dear Family, Hilda always referred to you as jewels, well done. Hilda Jean was always good for conversation, inspiration, and guidance. A sharp brain, fantastic memory. If you wanted to know anything about the community or family, ask Hilda. True to her passion for fashion, cooking, and educating we all have a piece of her. I will forever cherish our time together, loved our trips to the beauty shop. She was a special connection to our family.
