Hilton Dodd, Jr. Obituary
Hilton Dodd, Jr., age 69, of Ball Ground, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Harris and Rev. Tony Green officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 pm until 9 pm and Monday from 9 am until 9 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodd was a member of Conns Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Georgia Marble and enjoyed hot rods, hunting and horseback riding.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Shirley Dodd; daughter, Sherry Jordan; sisters, Opal Rich, Regina Holden and Rita Morris; grandchildren, Tanna Donaldson and Starla Walker; great-grandchildren, Cameron Donaldson and Levi Donaldson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
