Horace William Edward Armstrong, Sr., 68, of Lepanto, passed away May 3, 2023 at SMC Medical Center in Osceola. He was a farm worker. Mr. Armstrong was born February 22, 1955 in Joiner to Claude and Lois May Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Rita Armstrong of Lepanto, one son Horace Armstrong, Jr. of Trumann, five daughters Amanda Miller and Brenda Carpenter of Marked Tree, Vickie Needler and Patty Leitzen of Lepanto and Susan Wheeler of Jonesboro, one brother Claude Armstrong, Jr. of Trumann, five sisters Maxine Quinn of Lepanto, Ivy McGhee of Houston, Peggy Balentine of Conway, Lou Mullins of Oklahoma City, OK and Martha Miller of Mountain Home, 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, from 5-8PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. The service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial is at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Bro. David Busby officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR will be in charge of the services.
