Not sure what to say?

My dear Ann, I am so sorry to just find out that H.D. passed in 2004. I just found his obituary and what a handsome man he was. You two will never know how much you have helped me turn into the woman I am, today. I hope you get this message from me because I have thought of you and your family so many times over the years. While at Mills Home, Thomasville, NC, you were the best family who took me in and guided me with love and affection. I loved you so much and just last night I had a...

Dear Ann,

I'm thinking of you and your family at this sad time and fondly remembering H.D. from years ago at Watts Street when we served together as Deacons. You both have been missed there over the years. Come see us. Blessings and peace to you.

Dear Cam and family,

I am praying for your comfort and peace in the passing of Mr. Maynard. Please know my thoughts are with you as you celebrate his life.

Dear Grandmother, Dave, Aunt Cam, and Uncle H.D.,

I was so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Grandfather. I know with all my heart that he is in a better place now looking over all of us. I am so blessed to have such loving memories of our time together that I will cherish for a lifetime. I am so sorry that I could not make it tomorrow, but know that my thoughts and love are with you all.

Love,
Sarah

To Ann and all your family. Jeff and I are saddened to hear of HD's death. We were just speaking of him two days ago to friends and talking about his military service. What a hero. May he be rewarded with new wings in his Heavenly home, and may loving memories of his life and service be of comfort to you. You two were such a wonderful and loving couple. Thank you, H.D., for your service, and thank you both for your friendship. God Bless you, Ann. You are in our heart and prayers.

Dear Ann and family:

It was with a sincere note of sadness that I read of H.D's passing. He was one year behind me at Durham High, and we spent part of the same years at Carolina, and many years together at Watts Street Baptist Church. He was a fine man whose friendship I cherished. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

With fond regards,

Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Ann and family.

Cheryl, Vivian and Lexie
