Jack Clarence Frank passed away suddenly on July 17, 2020 at home with his loving wife by his side. Jack was born to the late Clarence and Alzena (Wirbel) Frank on February 1, 1944, in Bay City and resided in Monitor Township his entire life.
Jack married Marilyn (Gwizdala) on August 20, 1966. She survives him. Together, they enjoyed traveling all around the world and making precious memories with their family and friends. Jack was passionate about farming and was an active member in the agriculture community, serving on countless boards, committees, and commissions. He was an active member on the Monitor Township Planning Commission and a retired member of the Monitor Township Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoyed taking care of his home with beautiful flowers, hunting, golf, attending annual car races and the Mackinaw Bridge tractor crossing.
Surviving Jack is his wife, Marilyn; nephews, Todd (Deann) Frank and Troy (special friend, Jane) Frank; and niece, Amy (Scott) Perrault; great nieces and nephews, Alexandria & Mitchell Perrault and Christopher & TJ Frank. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary (Janet) Frank, and his wife’s parents, Edward & Julia Gwizdala.
Special friends: Eric & Emily Rosenbrock, Penny & Don Rueger, Jack & Dinah Moltane, Bill & Leah Fournier. Thank you to all those who loved, shared, cared, and helped throughout his lifetime.
“A heart destroyed in minutes is mine.” Jack, I love and cherish our time. My love, I now have so much to learn and pray I can make you proud. Love of my Life.
Friends may visit with the family at St. Gabriel Parish (St. Anthony site, 11 Mile & Midland Rd., Auburn) on Wednesday, July 22 from 9:00 until 1:00. Rev. Fr. Thomas E. Sutton will officiate the Liturgy Mass at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Please follow social distancing guidelines with masks worn. Marilyn, our most heartfelt condolences on Jack's passing. We only got reacquainted with you and Jack in the last 10+ years but in that short time we came to know a very gentle and welcoming man, usually sitting in the background kind of taking stuff in at some sort of Jezowski gathering. But we also witnessed a True Love. Your Jack will be very sadly missed. Prayers for your broken heart.

Jack was a friend of mine. We met because my oil company had many wells on his farmland. He was never too thrilled about the oil wells on his property but he was very, very good to me.
I will miss the times Jack, Eric and I would discuss sports, politics, hunting, etc in Jacks office at the farm. Jack was the master of the dry sense of humor. He would sometimes act like he was angry but if I looked closely, he was smiling under that thin mustache all along.
Marilyn, I am very sad for you. Ill miss Jack every time I drive by the farm or the house.
