Jacob Warren Carter,30, of Avon Indiana left us for his heavenly home on September 2, 2021. Although taken from us much too soon, his impact was great on so many during his short time here on earth.
Jacob was a loving son, father, brother and friend to many. He was the first-born son to Greg and Lisa Carter of Avon, Indiana, and was born on May 21, 1991. He was survived by his parents and three brothers, Dillon Carter (and his wife Hannah), Jackson Carter and Spencer Carter. He was also survived by his two precious daughters, Lenore and Presley. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, L. Ellen Rodgers of Indianapolis and his fraternal grandparents, Clyde Carter (and his wife Marsha) of Avon and Maxine Carter also of Avon. In addition, he was blessed with a family full of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jake attended Brownsburg High School and was always known for his infectious smile and his ability to bring people together, and make everyone feel at home around him. Growing up Jake enjoyed anything involving the outdoors. He rode four wheelers, loved to camp and fish and just hang out with his dad and brothers.
Jake will be dearly missed, but we take comfort in the fact that he left this earth knowing that he was loved beyond measure.

Jake and I weren’t really friends in high school, but he helped me by getting my car from being stuck during the winter. I was crying and he was a friend to me that day. My condolences to his family and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace, Jake and thanks for being there for me that night.
