Jacob (Jake) Christian Prieur

2000 - 2025

PRIEUR, Jacob (Jake) Christian – Of Burton, age 25, born February 10, 2000, passed away gently into the arms of Jesus after a long fight with brain cancer since the age of 10 years old. During Jakes short time on earth, he accomplished graduating from high school, enjoyed doing food and game videos uploaded on YouTube. Jake is a lighthearted person that loved to spend time with his brother Adam and make people laugh. Jake became an inspiration to many that knew him and gained the nickname “soldier” due to his ability to overcome physical ailments in such a short amount of time. Jake will truly be missed and is now Heavens Soldier.

Jake is a loving son that made his mother so very proud. He is the son of Andrea Prieur and Mark Wambold. 

Also surviving are siblings, Adam Wambold and Mya Wambold;

Aunts, Pietra Prieur and Sarah Harris Prieur; 

Uncle, Danny Prieur;

Cousins, Elijah Williams, Lilly Nance, Grace Nance; 

Grandpa, Danney Prieur. 

He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Christina Kelley Prieur “Pinky” and Grandma Laurel Harris Prieur “Punky”.  

A memorial service will be held at 3pm Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 2pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The family kindly request that those attending the visitation or the memorial service bring an empty box wrapped in Christmas themed paper to place around the room to help create a warm and festive atmosphere during the holiday season.
