Jacob Klyachenko, age 34, a resident of St. Charles, IL, passed away tragically on Saturday, January 16th, 2021. He was born on October 19, 1986 in Rostov, Russia to Peter and Yelena Klyachenko.
Jacob grew up around Wheaton with many family and cousins around him. He played football in St Charles before attending Wheaton Christian Grammar School and switching to soccer. He loves playing sports with his family and friends. He went on to Wheaton Academy for High School and fell in love with music.
Jake loved the guitar and music but even more he loved to worship. He gave his heart to the Lord as a young teenager and devoted his life to serving Christ. He went on to study at Trinity University where he played soccer before transferring to DePaul University for a triple major in business.
It was at that time his father Peter hired Jacob to work at Fox Valley Contractors to work in sales. Shortly after, Jacob was able to find the wife of his dreams from Florida. He continued to live in Wheaton and purchased their first home in Wheaton where him and Susan started a family. Benjamin was their first born son and made Jacob a proud father. Shortly after Jacob was blessed by their only daughter Naomi. Jacob and Susan then decided to move to St. Charles where they were awaiting their son expected to be born late February of 2021.
Jacob enjoyed fishing with his dad. He loved playing music with his siblings. Most of all Jacob loved studying the Word of God. He had a big heart and loved discussing God with anyone and everyone. He shared his life’s message about Christ’s finished perfect works to all without partiality.
He loved his dad deeply and always felt privileged to work closely with his papa for 12 years. He was impressed by his mom’s stories and loved their long discussions. He was proud of his brother Peter and protected his only sister Mary. He loved bragging about Sam’s wildest stories and helped raise Elijah as the eldest brother. He named Lukas and wanted him to achieve the highest of all Klyachenko’s. Susan was an answer to his prayers for a tall, beautiful and smart wife. Jacob loved being a father and spoiling his kids, his bond with each Benji and Naomi was unique and deep. He was a good friend to many and never held back what was on his mind.
Jacob was loved by everyone and he loved God above all.
He is survived by his wife Susan, two kids, Benjamin and Naomi and a son whom he called Peter Noah. Survived also by his father and mother, Peter and Yelena, sister Mary and four brothers, Peter, Samuel, Elijah, and Lukas.
