James Dale Cantrell

1960 - 2023

James Dale Cantrell passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at his residence in Bono, Arkansas, at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 1 day.  

James was born in Lilbourn, Missouri on Thursday, June 2, 1960 to Charles Cantrell and Hazel Southard Cantrell.  

His survivors include his mother, Hazel Cantrell of Malden; Five sisters, Paula Smith, Julie Lee Riddle, and Jo Ann Bowen all of Malden,  Syble Williams of Dexter, and Christine Cantrell; Five brothers, Wayne Cantrell of Leachville, Arkansas, Bobby Cantrell and Johnny Cantrell both of Malden and Charlie Cantrell and Jasper Cantrell both of Dexter; and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cantrell; sister, Doris Gibbs; and nephew David "Sparky" Gibbs.  

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 beginning at 2 PM at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden.

Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM, Friday, April 14, 2023 at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden with John Thomas Burleson officiating.
