Hi,
I'm not sure who is reading this but I'd like to send my condolences to Jim's family. He was such a special person. I worked with Jim at Office of the President. During the 1989 earthquake Jim went way out of his way to drive several of us home. Jim was the only one who helped save the job of a woman in production control who was accused of "mistakes". He testified that we all make mistakes - not a popular move with management but Jim stuck with the truth and didn't think of his reputation with the powers that be. I worked with Jim in the Benefits office under Jay Huish. We had such a nice group of people working then and Jim was one of the nicest. I remember Christmas parties where Jim entertained us on the piano. I also remember attending his retirement party a few years ago and now I only wish that he got to enjoy more of his time off. But only the good die too soon. I miss you Jim!
