JAMES EARL HAYNES, 86 years of age of Summersville, passed away Tuesday December 4,2024 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was the son of the late Lester and Winona Carter Haynes and was born at Hookersville January 23,1938. James was a retired federal mine inspector for the Mine Safety& Health Administration and a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving the scenic highway.
He was also preceded in death by one brother Benny Haynes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday December 7th in the Summersville Presbyterian Church with Pastor Joan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Cemetery Hill in Russellville. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry, 427 Water Street, Summersville, WV 26651
The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
