Jim was my classmate and friend through junior high, high school and college at Purdue. He always dreamed of being a sports broadcaster but lacked the connections to make it happen. His encyclopedic knowledge of the teams he followed would have made him a great one. We were on the same wavelength on Purdue sports, but even though we butted heads especially in baseball where he backed his Braves, and I cheered on the Cardinals, we could always agree to disagree. Jim was a precious friend! We shared tons of time, conversations, and laughs during our years with General Cinemas. He was always an encourager. I am praying for his family and friends who will miss him. Rest in peace my dear friend!
