James "Jim" Newsome Obituary
Mr. Newsome is survived by his wife of 52 years, Thelma D. Newsome, Jonesboro, GA; children, Kim (Michael) Seal, and Todd Newsome, both of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, Justin, Maegan, and Alex Seal, Kimberlyn, Caleb, and Hunter Newsome, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, several nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Susan Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Glo & I are saddened by your loss. I always enjoyed it when your family was in Tennessee at the same time we were. Uncle Jim always kept us entertained with his humor. He will be greatly missed.

Jim was one of the best grandfather's we have ever known. He had so many qualities. It was a pleasure knowing him & we know Thelma will get her strength from the Lord, family & friends.

Janis and I are sorry for your loss. We have wonderful memories of Jim. He was so kind , gentle, and friendly. He was a delightful brother-in-law. We will miss him tremendously, especially at our family gatherings. Love you.

Ms.Thelma, Kim, Todd, and all the family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your dear sweet love, he was very special and will be missed by so many. But be assured he is no longer in pain or discomfort, being anxious daily. He is at peace and looking to his loved ones to live their lives to the fullest, just as he would right along side of you. What a happy and blessed day it will be to reminisce with our love ones who are making a home for us to share someday. God bless you all.

We were so sorry to hear about your loss, but so thankful that Jim has received his reward. No more pain, just peace and comfort. He was a wonderful man, and I know you will miss him terribly, but be assured he is watching over you and wanting all his family to live a full and happy life here on earth, remembering all the good times and sharing all the new times with him in spirit until you are all together again.
