Cookie, I am so sorry to hear of Jimny's death. He was such a sweet, precious soul. His smile was infectious. I know your heart is so broken, but I am so thankful that you found each other and his life was richer because of you and His Lord. Our prayers are being extended to you and his loved ones.

WE attended Atlantic Christian College together. After four years of military service I accepted a position at Kemps Landing school in Va. Beach. The first person I saw was Jim Ross and what a welcome sight. He helped me get started. We worked together in other capacities over the years. He was a excellent teacher and a fine man. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I know he will be missed by his family and many friends. I send my condolences to his family.

Sorry I did not know of Jim's passing. I went to school with him and Janet as well as Camp Glen Methodist Church when we were teenagers. I will make sure a Luminary representing Jimmy will be placed at the Carteret County Relay For Life on May 19th at West Carteret High School Track.

Cookie, we are truly sorry to learn of the passing of Jimmy. He was a gentleman in high school and after seeing the two of you after 50 years at our reunion, he still was. Both of you made a wonderful couple. May God bless you and your family during this time.

Although, we didn't know Jim for a long time we feel blessed to have known him and called him a friend. We will remember the jokes he would tell and the laughs we shared. He was a good man always willing to lend a helping hand. He would spray alittle extra colonge when he knew we were coming because I would always tell him he was the best smelling man around. We will miss him but, his memory will always live on.

Jim truly touched all of our lives, & we loved him dearly as our family. He was a shining star in our lives & we will think of him when we see the bright night sky. He really loved you so much, Diana. While we would fish, he would often talk about places you & he would go, dancing & dining. We will all miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family. Sincerely, The Simon Family
