James passed away on February 22, 2026, at his home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara Jean Young (West Memphis, AR), daughters, Tara Dixon (Fresno, CA), Julia R. Young (Jonesboro, AR), son, James C. Young (Wynne, AR), sisters, Ernestine Stegall (Dallas, TX), Lavern Bradley (Chicago, IL), Dorthy Hart (Bellwood, IL), Darlene James (Wynne, AR), brothers, Eugene Young, Y.C. Young, Roger Young (all of Wynne, AR) 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Service: Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00am at Union Valley MBC Wynne, Arkansas.
Visitation: Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5pm-7pm at Woodard Funeral Service Chapel Wynne, AR
Burial: Monday March 9, 2026 10am Birdey Veteran's Cemetery Birdey, AR
