Jan Soloy Obituary
Jan Marie Soloy, died at age 68 with her husband Chris by her side. Jan married Chris on May 30, 1981 and move to Alaska from Chehalis Washington. Jan was a Registered Nurse before becoming Vice President of Soloy Helicopters. Although Jan was diagnosed with MS at an early age and later with cancer, she was still able to achieve so much.
Horses, travel, and entertaining were amongst a few of her passions. However, she always said her biggest achievement was raising a family. Jan made every second count with her family. Holiday dinners that may only last a few hours, took weeks of preparation to make sure that every detail was perfect.
Throughout her life she maintained a positive attitude with flare. A flair that will stay with us forever.
Jan is survived by her husband Chris, Brother James Helgen, her children Mariah, Matthew and wife Narina, Sam and wife Tanya, her grandchildren, Dawson, Gavin, Chaz, Landen, Carter and Luke.
A memorial will be held September 1, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church.
