I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your sweet Janel. I remember her as a cute little preschooler at St. John of God. I also remember your family creating the logo for SJOG. I would see the beautiful young lady, Janel, when shopping at Acme when I taught in Haddon Twp. May the memories of your sweet Janel wrap their arms around you.

Janel - "This little - yet incredibly bright - light of mine I am going to let it shine." Yes, this song comes to mind when thinking about Janel. She was and is a witness to God's love for us. It was obvious how much she loved the Lord and how her family (home and church and extended) loved her. We praise God she knew / knows Him, yet my family and I are so sorry to hear of her passing. The three of us have very fond memories of our interactions with her whether it be at church activities (she had such a calming and peaceful presence at many functions whether she was volunteering or otherwise) and/or at the ACME (she had a fantastic work ethic as well). She always had a smile, which in turn, brightened our day. I admired/admire her curiosity for the world, and the Word, while I went to Sunday School with her, and I thank her for accepting others. This was a beautifully altruistic quality that was inherent, and was unequivocally incredible in her, she accepted everyone for who they were and continued to be. What a beautiful strength in her. My family and I again, extend our condolences and praise God that we got to know her and her family over the years. What a blessing! We surely believe that her entrance in Heaven, when she met Jesus, was greeted with, "Janel, well done, good and faithful servant!"
