Janis Danielewicz Obituary

(nee Zagurski) Unexpectedly on December 7, 2021, of Mt. Ephraim, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, NJ.  Age 66 years.

Beloved wife of Jeffrey S. Danielewicz.  Dear mother of Wally Miller, Tina (Jarrid) Jermyn, Jeffrey Jr., Jonny and David.  Loving grandmother of Kaylee, Paiton and Kaitlyn.  She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Sophie Zagurski and her sister, Monica Goldberg.

Janis had a love for activities in Collingswood such as band boosters, Mayfair committee, holiday parade/parade of lights committee, and her jobs at Collingswood Prebysterian Church and Logan Memorial Prebysterian Church.  Janis enjoyed spending time with her family, time outdoors especially by her house on the lake, BINGO on Friday nights and she loved all animals (pets and the ones that would visit in her yard).  Janis had a kind heart, an exuberant spirit and was loved by anyone who interacted with her.  She will be dearly missed.

Love and sympathy to the family. Remember watching the '93 Flyers Playoff game at Jeff and Janis' house , and Janis served Polish deli food from her Philly job and it was delicious. The Flyers went nowhere. I remember laughing a lot. Prayers that all family members are comforted.

I am so sorry for your loss. Janis was a sweet kind friend to my mom and then after she passed to me. I will always remember the fun times we had at the campground, her helping buy cookies from my youngest when she was a girlscout.
My mom (Liz) now has a friend to talk to up there and I am sure they are making noise.
Rip Janis! She will always be watching over you all.

Janis was a kind and lovely friend. She will be missed by everyone at Collingswood Presbyterian Church. Janis always had time to stop and visit. When my husband Barry would do jobs around the church, he would usually bring Janis a doughnut and she loved that. They would tease back and forth and she had a wonderful laugh!

Janis absolutely adored her family. They were her world. I know she is so proud of them and she will be so deeply missed. But I also know she raised some of the strongest people I’ve ever met, especially Tina. Sending you all so so much love through this difficult time, and I know Janis is very glad you all have one another through this as well. ❤❤

Words cannot express just how hard this hit me. Janis was more than a friend. She helped to raise our kids just like they were hers, and was there for our Entire Family at the highest and lowest points.
I am forever grateful to have called her my friend.
We cry because we will miss her laugh, her craziness, her bright smile, and her loving, helpful spirit.
May God wrap His loving, comforting arms around the whole family as we walk through this valley, knowing she has reached the mountaintop.

Janis,

I froze when I heard the news today. I hate hearing this! You were such a sweet kind hearted person that I hate to see go. We had so many good memories from working at Wegmans for years-- you were always one of my favorites!! Since the day I left there, you were always one that I missed and thought of often! You always had a smile on your face, laughing and joking no matter what was going on or what kind of day we were having!! From working register, to subs, to accounting-- we both were always on the same ride and you always made work more enjoyable. You made work fun so I can only imagine how you made life even better. Your family especially and friends are going to miss you so much but I know you will always be looking down on everyone! Someone needed an angel and boy did they get one!! I hope heaven knows what they got because you'll be making people laugh up there and causing some good chaos, all while looking over the people who need you the most down here!

Your gonna be missed terribly thats for sure!
Until we meet again

I have no words to express how much you will truly be missed. I hope I can be at least half the mother in law to your daughter as you were to my son. You were the most amazing wife mother and friend.

Miss Janis....I will always remember how happy you were when you visited Tina at work. You were devastated when your sister passed away; you were so close. You battled through health problems and were here to see your only daughter get married. Time to rest peacefully, my deepest condolences to your family. They will continue to be in my prayers.
