I got to know the Walkup boys when helping them select flowers for their mom, Pat, and then later, their father, at my florist. While I did not know them well, they all impressed me as kind and good young men. Truly a great loss. I send sincere sympathy and prayers to the families. Ladonna

Jason Joseph Walkup, age 44, of Sebring, FL passed away Monday, October 6th, 2025. He was born July 24th, 1981 in Avon Park, FL to Joel Fredrick and Patricia Ann (Brown) Walkup. Jason was owner & operator of Highlands Outboard Mobile Marine, served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and has been a life long resident of Sebring, FL. Jason loved the Miami Hurricanes, enjoyed golfing and fishing, and cherished time spent with his family, friends, and animals.
He is survived by his Wife - Kimberly Walkup; Daughters - Ansley Vickers; Addison Walkup; Brothers - Joel Walkup (Danielle); Zachary Walkup (Amanda); Aaron Walkup (Shayda); Colin Walkup (Alexis); Sister - Hope Dimmett (Chad); Nieces and Nephews - Jay, Juliana, West, Ivy, Jameson, Megan, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Alexander; Aunt - Vivian Bould (Martyn). He is preceded in death by his Parents. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 10th 2025 at 4 pm at Bible Fellowship Church.
