Jeanette Rasnack Obituary
Our beloved Jeanette, “Luna,” passed away May 15, 2018 in Eugene, OR. Jeanette was born July 17, 1982 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Carl M. Rasnack and Jeane Read Rasnack. She spent most of her life in Harrisonburg, graduating from Turner Ashby High School and the University of Mary Washington. She relocated to the Eugene area in 2009.
She will be remembered by her father Carl Rasnack (Deborah), sister Carla Waid (Bryan), brother Joseph Rasnack (Colleen), niece Megan Waid, nephew Samuel Waid, daughter Carlie Joy, special companion Joe and many other relatives. She is also mourned by her community in OR. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeane Rasnack Peck, grandparents Josephine and Raymond Rasnack and Jeane and Eugene Rummel.
The family will receive friends at a memorial to Jeanette’s life Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 2:30 pm, at Dayton United Methodist Church, 215 Ashby St., Dayton, VA. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to White Bird Clinic, 341 E. 12th Ave., Eugene, OR 97401or www.whitebirdclinic.org/donate.

Jeanette was a dear friend. She volunteered with us in our outreach ministry to the needy and homeless where her kind and gentle nature brought comfort to many. We loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

Jeanette is a part of so many of my childhood memories. She was a wonderfully inquisitive, creative, kind soul. I am so grateful to have known her. My heart aches for all who love her in this time of mourning.
