Jeffrey Robert Schlanderer

Jeffrey Robert Schlanderer, age 69 of Kentwood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Ethel Schlanderer, and sister Sandy Schlanderer. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Ilze “Suzy”; son Adam; brothers Art (Kyong) Schlanderer, Bruce (Joyce) Schlanderer; sisters Midge Reges, Anne (Joe) Darr, Debbie Grimes; sisters-in-law Velta Lewis, Lynn Vecziedins; also many nieces and nephews. Jeff was honored to have served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Fulton St. S.E., Grand Rapids. Pastor Robert Linstrom officiating. Military honors will be held under the auspices of the Kent County Honor Guard.
