Jeffrey Yerk Obituary

        Jeffrey K. Yerk, 66, of Hatfield, PA passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at his residence.  


        He was the beloved husband of Donna (Ryan) Yerk.  


        Born in Telford, PA  he was a son of the late Arthur and Beverly (Richmond) Yerk.


        Jeffrey had been employed as a welder at Schlosser Steel, Souderton for more than 16 years.  Being a motorcycle owner, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, kept his yard in immaculate condition, enjoyed feeding the birds, taking trips to Ocean City, New Jersey, was a season ticket holder for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and was a huge Eagles fan.  Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather.  


        Along with his wife Donna, he is survived by his daughter Jamie Rumsey and her husband Erich of Doylestown, PA; two grandchildren Alyce and Rowan; his brothers George Yerk of Snowflake, AZ, Dave Yerk of Helena, MT and Douglas Yerk and his wife Janine of Skippack, PA.  He is also survived by his niece Kayla and nephew Logan.


        Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Jeff was such a great guy, kind, genuine, and fun to be around. He touched so many hearts and is truly missed. Please know that you, Jamie, your grandchildren, and your entire family have been in my thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time and will continue to be as you all heal from your loss.
