Jerome "Jerry" John McFadden, Jr.

1961 - 2021

Jerome John “Jerry” McFadden, Jr., 59, of Princeton, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his residence after a long, courageous battle with Glioblastoma.  Born October 5, 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Jerome John McFadden of Pittsburgh, PA, and the late Rosemary Larkin Bytnar.  Jerry was a graduate of Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University School of Law in Morgantown.  In the late 1980’s Jerry moved to Princeton from Morgantown and began working with Robert Holroyd & Associates.  He then partnered with Mike Gibson (Gibson & McFadden) and later Kay Bayless (Bayless & McFadden) before opening his own practice, The Law Offices of Jerome J. McFadden.  Jerry was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Mustard McFadden of Princeton; his two children, Jerome John “Johnny” McFadden, III of Morgantown and Princeton, and Heleana Joyce McFadden of Baltimore, MD, and his father, Jerome “Jerry” McFadden, of Pittsburgh. In honoring Jerry’s wishes, he will be cremated.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Sebastian Devasya as celebrant.  Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton at a later date.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour Thursday at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O.
