Jesse Simpson Jr. Obituary
Jesse Hatfield Simpson Jr., 64, of Northfork, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his home.
Born on September 5, 1958, in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Jesse and Inez Boyd Simpson. Jesse was a resident of McDowell County for 64 years and worked as a lineman.
In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by a son, Jacob Simpson.
Those left to cherish Jesse’s memory are his companion of 35 years, Debra Millirones of the home; his daughter, whom he lovingly called his “hero”, Jessica Millirones, of Northfork, WV; brother, Chuck Simpson of Princeton, WV; sisters, Darlene Watkins of Bluewell, WV, Debbie Dillon of Welch, WV, Elaine Rocchetti of Crumpler, WV, and Betty Scott of Bluewell, WV; aunt and uncle, Sharon and Nigel of Princeton, WV; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Jesse’s wishes he is to be cremated and no services will be held.
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Simpson family.
