Jimmy Lodrigue Obituary
Jimmy A. Lodrigue, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was a longtime resident of Dulac.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial at Chauvin Funeral Home Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM. Burial will take place at a later date.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Beulah Butcher, Jammie Lodrigue, Maggie Cotton and husband Dwayne, Amy Duplantis and husband Christopher, and Jennifer Marcel and husband Jacob; seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters.
Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-five years, Mona Faye Lodrigue; parents, Wilsey Albert Lodrigue and Melvina Verdin Lodrigue; two brothers, and one sister.
Jim was blessed with a beautiful family and loved them dearly. Anyone who knew Jim, knew he was a hardworking shrimper for many years. He enjoyed being on the water, spending time with his grandkids, playing the guitar and watching the Saints game. He loved to make people laugh and could always be found with a smile on his face. Jim leaves this world behind to be reunited with his wife, Mona. He played his final tune and rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
