I just learned of Joan's passing. She was an awesome neighbor. Always pleasant. My dog loved her too... unconditional love!! She invited me numerous times to join her on their trips to AC. I'm still working and unfortunately my schedule never synced up. Wonderful, spirited lady!! Rest in love, Joan.

I have just learned of Joan's passing. I worked at RBC in Canada, Joan and I had a very long happy relationship mostly by phone until she came to Toronto. Your mom was an original and always had a smile in her voice. I truly enjoyed our conversations and the friendship that grew. It was easy with her

I am truly heartbroken . My prayers & support to all of you. To say she was a wonderful woman just isn’t enough. I had the pleasure of working with Joan at Lions Head North while she was a Trustee. She was the Treasurer when I was hired & quickly took me under her wing. For the 9 years I knew her she was always there with a kind & uplifting word in person, on the phone or on Facebook. I am honored to have been your friend Joan. You are missed already. My deepest condolences.
