In Loving Memory of Joan B. Trerotola
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Joan B. Trerotola, a beloved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, who departed this world on September 10, 2023. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and enduring memories that her family and friends will forever cherish.
Joan was born on August 3, 1935, the daughter of Anna and James Barckley. She grew up in Moorestown, NJ, where she learned the values of hard work, kindness, and the importance of family. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1957 and worked as a Biochemist. Later, she explored her passion for flowers as a Perennial Garden Designer for a greenhouse in NJ.
Joan was a dedicated and loving mother to her two daughters, Anne Tribush and Jennifer Cote. She instilled in them strong moral values and the power of unconditional love. Her daughters often spoke of her unwavering support and the many life lessons she taught them. As a mother-in-law to Bruce Tribush and Gregg Cote, Joan welcomed them into her family with open arms. She treated them as her own and formed deep, loving connections that enriched the lives of all involved. However, perhaps the greatest joy of Joan's life was found in her role as a grandmother. She adored her four grandchildren, Rylan, Amelia, Lance, and Shayna, and relished the moments spent together. Joan's warm smile and easygoing spirit created a bond that her grandchildren will forever cherish.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Spencer Memorial Scholarship Fund, established to assist Certified Nursing Assistants who want to pursue a nursing career and for Licensed Nurses to continue their education in a health-related field, or to Jewish Family & Children’s Service https://www.jfcsboston.org/give/donate-online. Contributions to the Spencer Memorial Scholarship Fund may be sent to The RiverWoods Company, Campus Crossings, 5 White Oak Drive, Exeter, NH 03833.
Joan B. Trerotola's presence in our lives was a blessing, and her memory will be cherished always. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was loved deeply and will never be forgotten. With heartfelt condolences, The Tribush and Cote Families.
