Joanne C. Bigam

1949 - 2024

Joanne C. Bigam (Frank), passed away at the age of 75 surrounded by love and cherished memories. She was the devoted mother of Gina, Jennie, Briana, Catherine, and Shannon, and the proud grandmother of Michael, Melissa, Dani, Andrew, Matthew, Sabrina, and Madilyn. Joanne was also the beloved great-grandmother of Michael and dear sister to Mary, Susie, and Nancy. She further held a special place as a treasured aunt, great-aunt, and cousin to many.

As the former spouse of Clifford, Thomas (late), and Leroy, even though their paths diverged, she shared meaningful chapters of her life with each.

Joanne lived a life filled with vibrant energy and a deep passion for art, dancing, and music, bringing joy to all who knew her. Her remarkable outlook on life helped her navigate its ups and downs with resilience, humor, and grace. She touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, love, and enduring lessons.

Joanne’s journey was one of love and strength, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the laughter, warmth, and inspiration she shared with everyone. With a kind heart and strong moral guidance, she lived her life and will always live in our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held on February 1st, 2025, from 1pm-4pm at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park IL.

A Final Farewell for close family will take place April 2025.
