My heart is broken as we mourn the passing of Jody. I also rejoice knowing that she has no more pain or illness. I pray that you will find God's peace as you continue life until God calls you home. May you also find comfort from God, family and friends. I am blessed that Jody is my friend and Jasper partner. Love you all.

Jody. very beloved by her ability to facilitate Bible studies. She talked so loving of Greg & the boys. She also facilitated the excellent wife study, she would be down to earth, & in not a greater than thou kind of way. she is a great loss. She has touched so many lives with her loving tender ways. Jody's Obituary

Jody Lynn Dubay, age 51 of Yorkville, IL formerly of North Dakota and Minnesota, passed away following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL. She was born on December 15, 1960 in Fargo, ND the daughter of the late, Herbert and Norma (Tingelstad) Pederson.Jody was united in marriage on July 19, 1986 in Rolla, ND to Mr. Gregory Dubay and they spent the next 25 happy years together. During her high school years, Jody was the National FHA Secretary. She then continued her education at the North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Jody was an excellent seamstress and will be buried in a lovely pink suit that she made herself. She also enjoyed making craft projects with several of her friends. Jody was a much loved "Mentor Mom" with the local chapter of MOPS that met at the Zimmerman Evangelical Free Church in Zimmerman, MN. She was an amazing cook and her specialty was making homemade pasta which she loved to share with her church family. Jody was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.She is survived by her husband, Greg Dubay of Yorkville, IL; her sons, Matthew (Kourtney) Dubay of Minneapolis, MN, Robert Dubay of Roseville, MN and Nicholas Dubay of Minneapolis, MN; her brothers, David Pederson, and Dan (Jerri) Pederson both of Rolla, ND; as well as several nieces and nephews.A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Zimmerman Evangelical Free Church, 25620 4th Street West in Zimmerman, MN with Pastor Tom Sterneman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Livonia Cemetery in Zimmerman, MN.Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW in Elk River, MN.
