Dear Lynne and Wally, we just want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. What an amazing life Mr. Johnny had on this earth, but it does not even compare to the beautiful place he is in now. We look forward to celebrating his life and legacy with you tomorrow at the service.

Lynne and Wally, Thank you! I am thankful for the time I shared with Mr Johnny. He was always our cheerleader! He watched our lessons and praised our progress. If you caught him in a talkative mood he would tell the best stories about his home in Tate and the children that would visit and play in his driveway. He talked about his time in the service and his job at Georgia Marble. He talked about his girls and how much they accomplished. He loved his time at Bluebird farm and he made good friends at Benton House. Mr Johnny lived a long life. He was well cared for by a loving family. He was loved by all who knew him. I will miss your dad but I take comfort in knowing he is in a better place. I am thankful that I called him my friend. Love you all, Paula

Lynne,
During my time at Blue Bird Farm I have formed many friendships. One of the most memorable is the one I had with Mr. Johnny. I will forever cherish our early morning breakfasts (although he always gave half of his to Doc Holiday) and every occasion we all sat around on the back porch. I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet the man who raised you. Praying for you and your family during this time.
