John Brissett, 56, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025.
John was born on February 1st, 1969 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Harry and Paula (Henderson) Brissett. John grew up in St. Joseph - graduating from Central High School, before attending Hillyard Technical School.
John was most recently employed by the DeKalb School District as a school bus driver for 9 years. He greatly enjoyed this role. He also had previously coached baseball.
John is survived by his wife, Brownyn (Metherly), father, Harry Brissett, 3 children: Tyler Brissett, Nicole Petty, and Kaily Brissett, and numerous grandchildren. Additionally John is also survived by brothers Michael Brissett and AJ Brissett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Brissett.
John has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no formal services at this time.
