John Olin Conley

1933 - 2016

John Olin Conley of Lexington died Sunday, March 13, 2016. Olin, age 83, was born on January 23, 1933, in Lexington. Olin graduated from Lexington High School in 1951 and Oklahoma A & M College in 1955. Olin subsequently spent his life working in the cattle industry, including working many years at the Oklahoma City Stockyards and on his ranch and farm in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Conley of Lexington; son, Clay Conley, and wife Darnel, of Jacksonville, Florida, and son Bob Conley, and wife Deborah, of Charleston, South Carolina; three grandsons, Ian Conley and Jackson Conley of Jacksonville, Florida, and John Conley of Charleston, South Carolina; granddaughter Katherine Conley of Charleston, South Carolina; sister Ramona Waddell, and husband Richard, of Indianapolis, Indiana; nephew Alex Waddell, and wife Jackie, of Springfield, Virginia; and, niece Elaine Pfleiderer of Oklahoma City.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Lexington United Methodist Church.
