John J. DeRepentigny

1943 - 2024

John J. DeRepentigny, 80, of Manchester, NH, died February 26, 2024, at Courville at Manchester.

Born in Portland, ME, on June 3, 1943, he was the son of Joseph and Alice (Rocha) DeRepentigny. 

He graduated from Methuen High School, Methuen, MA

John was employed with Malden Mills for many years and retired from the Raytheon Corporation.

John enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. But above all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Those who knew him will never forget his art of storytelling and quick wit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Edith “Lee” (Crane) DeRepentigny and his 3 boys, Alan, Michael, and Steven.

Family members include two daughters, Lisa Gerrard and her husband, Jamie, of Manchester, and Cheryl Bolis of Manchester; a grandson, William Moore DeRepentigny; and several nieces and nephews, including his nephew, Richard DeRepentigny of GA.

Services: Calling hours are Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.

Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA, at a later date.
