Mr. John Leslie Ellyson, of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1964 in Richmond, CA, to the late Gerald Ellyson and LaDonna Lady. John had reached the age of 61 years.

John worked in the automotive industry as a supervisor for many years. He was united in marriage to the late Diane Lehman on June 23, 2012 in Warrenton. John loved riding his Harley any chance he had. He loved listening to music and having a good time. He was a family man and loved each of them, but he especially loved his grandchildren. They each had a special place in his heart. John was happiest when he could relax and have a drink.

John Ellyson was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diane; his parents, Gerald and LaDonna; two grandchildren, Soraya Orozco and Baylie Gillespie. He is survived by his children, Sarah Woodward, Angel Ellyson, John Ellyson Jr., Robin Ellyson, Crystal Ellyson, Cassidee Lehman-Ellyson, and Clifton James Ellyson; several grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A visitation for John Ellyson will be held on Friday, March, 27, 2026 at Martin Funeral Home, beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM. The family will then go to Salina, KS, for his final resting place. Online condolences may be given at martinfuneral.net
