John Ferguson Obituary
Mr. John Loyd Ferguson, age 57, of Homer, GA formerly of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, following a brief illness. He was born January 28, 1965 in Stuttgart, Germany. John loved his family and watching movies. He was preceded in death by his father, Harlen Ferguson, his step-father, John Bigham and a sister, Tammy Morton. John was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his mother, Georgia Bigham of Blairsville, GA; daughter, Julie Oberle of Sandersville, GA; sons, Jeremy and Melissa Sorrells of Calhoun, GA and Jacob Sorrells of Habersham County, GA; sister, Kelly and Hoyt Patterson of Homer, GA; several grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews also survive.
Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers make donations to help defray funeral expenses.
