JOHN S. GOLEMBIEWSKI, age 87. Beloved husband of Marian (nee Pech) for 67 years; loving father of Cindy Kiel, Tom Golen, and Steve Golembiewski; cherished grandfather of four; dear brother of nine. Retired Cleveland Police Officer. Friends may call at LATEK & RYBICKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 7906 BROADVIEW RD. (corner of Broadview and Sprague Rds.), where services will be held Tuesday, February 6, at 9:00 AM and at St. Therese Church, Granger Rd., at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery. VISITING HOURS: MONDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Uncle John used to stop by our house in Cleveland when he worked nights. My parents would have coffee and lunch ready for him and they would usually wake me up with their laughter. He was the reason I grew up comfortable around policemen.

Golembiewski Family,
I first met John in the 4th District when the CPD Unit I was In was assigned to that district every few months. Our paths crossed often on the street and when John was assigned to the Justice Center I saw him even more. John was always a pleasure to talk with, always a gentleman. May he Rest In Peace, you will be missed.
