Voorhees - Formerly of Camden, On November 6, 2021. Age 81. John is survived by his cousin, David Farace. He was a freelance writer for the Esquire, Rolling Stone and New York Times. John taught at Haverford College.
Catholic Graveside Services will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

John was a close friend of my family growing up in Camden. We shared many musical moments during those years. He taught me how to play guitar and was a good friend in my early years. We were always proud of his work and career.
Keep them on their toes up there John. I’ll see you on the other side.
