John Mackey Jr. Obituary
John A. Mackey Jr., age 82 passed away peacefully at home on Saturday June 6, 2020.
Born on June 22, 1937 in Dover, NJ to Marjorie (Lawson) and John A Mackey Sr., he was a 1958 graduate of Penn State University and a proud
member of the Blue Band. He was employed by Betz Labs in Trevose, PA for 25 years.
He enjoyed music, golf, gardening, travelling and spending time with family. His love of storytelling left us with many great memories.
He was a proud member of the masonic lodge for 65 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois (Tintle) Mackey: four children, Ellyn (Rick) Schoen, Allyson (Chris) McCarron, Joel (Jill) Mackey and Curtis Mackey; seven grandchildren, Amy, Dan, Stephen, Sarah, Emily, Laura, Katie: two greatgrandchildren, Grayden and Milo; his sister Susan
(Jack) Henderson.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bucks County Rescue Squad, 143 King Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
