John Matura, Sr. Obituary
John Michael Matura, Sr. 79, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026. He was born in Freehold, NJ on April 6, 1946, the son of the late John Matura and Irene Clark Matura.
John worked for Pfizer for 30 years as a fork lift operator. He was a collector of various things and loved cars. He had a lot of fun with his family and loved playing his computer games.
John is survived by his daughter, Darlene Flory; and son, John Matura, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; great grandchildren, Princeton and Lillian; and a brother, Michael John Matura (Marlene).
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Matura; daughter, Debra Eppler; siblings, Alan Matura and Ralph Matura; and a son-in-law, Mike Flory.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
